Alenia Aeronautica is the prime contractor for the ATR maritime patrol variant, ordered by Libya and already in service with the Nigerian Air Force, the Italian Coast Guard and Guardia di Finanza (Customs Police). Alenia Aeronautica integrated the ATOS mission system on the ATR 42 airframe, certified the aircraft to civil standards and builds production machines.
