Alenia Aeronautica is the prime contractor for the ATR maritime patrol variant, ordered by Nigeria and already in service with the Italian Coast Guard and Guardia di Finanza (Treasury Police). Alenia Aeronautica integrated the ATOS mission system on the ATR 42 airframe, certified the aircraft to civil standards and builds production machines.
