The Alenia center of excellence for defense and transport aircraft final assembly, integration and flight testing is located at Caselle, Turin’s international airport. All prototypes and production Eurofighter Typhoons and C-27Js are flown and delivered from here.
Caselle has state-of-the-art production facilities that build all Eurofighter left wings and rear fuselages. It hosts the final assembly line for the C-27J as well as for the Italian Air Force Eurofighters, plus ATR42 MP systems and equipment installation and integration and Dassault Falcon 2000 rear fuselage manufacture. Caselle also specializes in defense aircraft overhaul, maintenance, modifications and support.
